For Parents

Help college coaches find your wrestler.

Build a recruiting profile college coaches actually search. Men's and women's programs, D1 through JUCO. You can run it for your wrestler.

Coaches won't find your wrestler by accident.

Unless your kid is winning national titles, recruiting doesn't come to you. It works a lot like sales. Most coaches will pass. A few will be interested. The goal is to get enough of them looking that your wrestler has real choices.

And choices matter. A message from one coach isn't an offer. That coach is probably recruiting several other kids at the same weight. With a full list, you can cross off the schools that are too far, too expensive, or don't have the right degree. With one option, you take it and hope it fits.

WrestlerFinder is built for the wrestler who's good enough to compete in college but isn't on every coach's radar yet.

How it works

  1. Build the profile.

Weight, grad year, results, GPA, test scores and video. Start with the basics and add the rest over time.

  2. Coaches search.

College coaches filter by weight class, graduation year, GPA, state and the level your wrestler is interested in.

  3. Keep it current.

Add results after every tournament. A state medal in March tells a different story than last summer's record. You'll get a notification when a coach views the profile. Pro shows you the school and division.

You can be the one in charge of it.

Plenty of wrestlers start a profile, see all the fields, and walk away. You don't have to leave it to them. Sign up as the parent, log in with your own email, and build it together at the kitchen table. You're listed as the parent contact, so coaches can reach you directly on Pro profiles.

Questions parents ask

Is it free?

Yes. A free profile shows up in coach searches, and you'll know when a coach views it. Pro adds your contact info and video for coaches, ranks higher in search, and shows you which schools are looking.

Who are the coaches?

College coaches from men's and women's programs, D1 through JUCO. Every coach account is verified by hand. We confirm they're on the program's staff before they get access.

Is my kid's information safe?

Contact info is visible only to verified college coaches, and only on Pro profiles. We never sell your information for money, and you can opt out of ad tracking anytime. You can edit or delete anything, anytime.

My wrestler isn't a state champ. Is this for them?

Yes. That's who we built it for. College rosters are full of wrestlers who never won a state title. Coaches just need to know they exist.

When should we start?

Sooner than most families think. A profile started as a freshman or sophomore grows with every result. Juniors and seniors should start now.

Can I manage it for my wrestler?

Yes. Choose "I'm a parent or guardian" when you sign up. You log in with your email and run the profile.

Does WrestlerFinder contact coaches for us?

No. Coaches search for wrestlers themselves. Your job is to keep the profile complete and current so your wrestler shows up.

Can we cancel anytime?

Yes. Cancel from your account page. Your free profile stays.
