How WrestlerFinder Works for Coaches

Coaches are always free

Creating an account, searching wrestlers, saving prospects to recruiting boards, and viewing full Pro profiles. All of it is free for verified college coaches. No trial. No credit card. No subscription.

Creating your account

Go to the coach registration page and fill out your information. We verify every coach account manually before approving access. Once approved, you have full search access.

Verification usually takes one business day. If you have questions about your application status, contact us directly.

Searching wrestlers

The Find Wrestlers page has filters for every relevant recruiting criteria: weight class, graduation year, state, college level interest, GPA range, ACT/SAT range, preferred region, and tournament credentials including national placements.

Results show Pro athletes first, ranked by visibility score. Free athlete profiles are visible but contact information is not shown.

What you see on a Pro profile

A Pro athlete’s full profile includes their contact information, highlight video, complete academic profile including GPA, test scores, honors courses, and academic awards, recruiting preferences, and college preferences.

Free athlete profiles show wrestling credentials and basic academic information without contact details.

Recruiting boards

Save wrestlers to recruiting boards to track prospects through your evaluation process. Create named boards like “2028 Class” or “157 Targets” or whatever works for your staff. Add and remove wrestlers as your recruiting evolves.

Adding a wrestler to a board logs a profile view. The athlete is notified that a coach saved their profile.

Search appearances

When you run a search and a wrestler appears in your results, that appearance is logged. Athletes can see how many times their profile appeared in coach searches over the past 30 days. They cannot see which coaches searched or what criteria were used.

What we ask of coaches

Use the platform to find real prospects. Do not create accounts to harvest contact information for mass outreach. We monitor account activity and will revoke access if a coach account is being used in bad faith.

The wrestlers on this platform are real kids who want to be found by coaches who are genuinely interested. Treat them accordingly.
