From 3rd-8th grade, my favorite sport to play was football. Although I was a girl, I was an active starter on both side of the ball, and tackling was one of my favorite parts of the game. My 7th grade year was the first time I had heard about women’s wrestling and I though I should try it, based on how much I enjoyed similar aspects in football. My love for the sport grew and was at what I felt would be an all time high as I ended my middle school career with a 27-1 record. Later, I would find this out to be completely false. Since then, my love for the sport has only kept growing.
