Kyan Roberts

My name is Kyan Roberts, and I’m a Class of 2028 wrestler at Byron High School in Michigan. I started wrestling when I was six years old, and I want to continue competing at the college level while earning my degree. Wrestling has taught me discipline, accountability, and how to keep working through challenges.
During my 2025–26 high school season, I placed at every tournament and became a two-time league runner-up. At the 2026 Disney Duals, I represented Team Michigan Blue, finished with a 9–3 individual record, and earned Bronze All-American honors. One of my proudest moments was coming back from a 17–5 deficit to win by pin. That match reinforced why I never give up before the final whistle.
Outside of wrestling, I play varsity baseball and participate in FFA. I’ve earned academic recognition and an Integrity Award. Being someone my coaches, teachers, and teammates can count on matters to me.
I’m looking for a college where I can grow academically and athletically, learn from experienced coaches, and help my team succeed. I know college wrestling will demand more from me, and I’m ready to put in the work to earn my place.
